So it's St. Patrick's Day. Yesterday it occurred to me that it's a little nuts that we have a holiday with Irish roots in which we all basically act out an ethnic stereotype. What's next, a Chinese holiday where we all do math?

Reading this reminded me of the Dolly Parton song "We Irish" which I sent to a friend who lives in Northern Ireland on St. Pat's Day last year. He was shocked at how many Irish stereotypes she was able to cram into 4 and a half minutes.
